Equipment Update

 EQUIPMENT UPDATE

Our group has easy access to a free equipment rental service called ShortCuts TV that lends equipment to student filmmakers. Our team didn’t think that lots of students were aware of this company, so we didn’t believe that there would be any line when it came to getting the equipment we wanted. However, to our disbelief, there ended up being a shortage over spring break, since everyone had the same mindset as we did. We have come to the conclusion that we will probably end up using the cameras, light kits, tripods, etc. that our school provides since we know it is not currently out of stock. We have the right types of cameras and products to make our film. On top of that, we will be filming outdoors during sunlight, so we don't need any type of fancy lighting. 

Now that spring break is over, we are hoping that there is still a chance to get equipment from ShortCuts. There are a ton of students now returning everything they used, leaving more for us. Even if this is not a possibility, we still have our other backup plan.
